In this paper, a field test of the underground pipe ground-source heat pump system is carried out in the cooling season based on the actual energy station, and the indicators such as the electricity consumption to transferred cooling quantity ratio, efficiency, and energy efficiency ratio are calculated. The reasons for the low energy efficiency ratio of heat pump units are analysed, the optimization operational strategy is proposed, and the effect of the optimization strategy is verified in practical application. The results show that all equipment in the system runs in the high-efficiency zone, the energy efficiency ratio of the heat pump units is maintained above 4, the pump efficiency of the ground-source side and user side increases by 21.13% and 23.68%, respectively, the average electricity consumption to transferred cooling quantity ratio is reduced to 0.029, and the total energy saving is 85 205.1 kWh. It ensures user comfort while reducing operating costs, enhancing system reliability, flexibility, efficiency and economy.
